A1 Beginner Level
No German required for our A1.1 German Beginner courses! Perfect to start your learning journey.
Join our A1.2 Post-Beginner course if you can understand and use familiar everyday expressions, very basic phrases, introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details.
A2 Pre-Intermediate Level
Join our A2 German course if you can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). You can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Our A2.2 and A2.3 course focus on speaking German and interacting with your classmates and your German teacher.
B1 Intermediate Level
Join our B1 German courses if you can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. You can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences, events, dreams, hope, ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. This course particularly focuses on speaking German and building confidence.
B2 upper-Intermediate Level
Join our B2 courses if you can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialisation. You can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. You can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
