Service Description

This course is perfect for students with no prior knowledge of German. Over 8 weeks, you'll complete the A1.1 level in a small group of max. 6 students — ideal for fast, personalised progress. Our passionate and enthusiastic native German teacher will guide you through communicative and fun classes. You'll enjoy a personalized and progressive learning experience where small class sizes lead to great progress. Course Details: - Duration: 8 weeks - Class Size: Maximum 6 students Content Includes: - Introduction to the German alphabet and pronunciation. - Basic greetings and self-introductions. - Numbers, days of the week, and months. - Vocabulary related to family, food, leisure activities, and household items. - Simple sentence structures and grammar basics, such as articles and word order. - Basic conversation skills for everyday situations (e.g., ordering food, asking for directions). - Listening and comprehension exercises. - Reading and writing basic German texts. - Cultural insights into German-speaking countries. Learning Outcomes: - Understand and use basic German vocabulary and grammar. - Engage in simple conversations. - Read and write basic texts. - Lay a foundation for continuing to A1.2. T&Cs @ GermanMind – Simple, Clear & Fair Course Bookings: When you join a GermanMind course, you book a fixed place in one specific group with a set start and end date. Small groups are part of the GermanMind concept and learning experience (max. 10 students in school, 6 online). Your place is therefore reserved exclusively for you and cannot normally be transferred, moved, or used in another course. Missed Classes & Substitute Classes: If you miss a class, free substitute classes may be available in another suitable group, depending on space and scheduling. Substitute classes are not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance by contacting [mail@germanmind.ie](mailto:mail@germanmind.ie). Cancellations: If you need to cancel your place in a group course, please email [mail@germanmind.ie](mailto:mail@germanmind.ie) at least 72 hours before the course starts. Because places are reserved individually and groups are intentionally kept small, cancellations made less than 72 hours before the course start are generally non-refundable. Bank Holidays: Classes falling on Bank Holidays may be rescheduled to the Friday of the same week.
