GermanMind is a professional language school in Dublin 2 offering high-quality German courses in a welcoming and supportive learning environment. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic German teacher to join our growing team on a part-time, freelance basis.

Your Role

  • Teach engaging German classes for adult learners

  • Plan structured lessons based on students’ levels and goals

  • Explain German grammar clearly and practically in English

  • Encourage students to speak and use German with confidence

  • Adapt lessons to different learning styles and individual needs

  • Collaborate with our teaching and administration team

 

About You

  • Native-level German

  • Good English skills

  • A relevant teaching qualification

  • At least two years of German teaching or tutoring experience

  • A strong understanding of German grammar

  • Confidence teaching beginner and intermediate learners

  • A friendly, patient and professional approach

  • Reliability, excellent organisation and strong communication skills

  • Availability to work on a part-time, freelance basis

Internship

Paid German Teaching Internship

Would you like to gain more hands-on experience supporting German learners?

Join the GermanMind team in Dublin and work directly with selected students while developing your teaching skills with guidance from experienced educators.

 

Your Role

  • Support students

  • Lead conversation practice and selected learning activities

  • Explain basic vocabulary and grammar clearly in English

  • Help students build confidence and make progress

  • Create practical, engaging learning materials

  • Assist our teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

 

About You

  • You are a native German speaker or have German at C1 level or above

  • You already have experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or supporting learners

  • You have very good English skills

  • You can confidently explain basic German grammar and vocabulary

  • You are ready to deliver simple beginner-level activities independently

  • You are friendly, patient, reliable and comfortable working with adults

  • You enjoy taking initiative while also being part of a supportive team
