Our B1.1 intermediate course is designed for students who have completed both the beginner and pre-intermediate courses, or who have an understanding of everyday spoken and written German and are able to communicate in everyday situations. Our passionate and enthusiastic native German teachers will guide you through 8 weeks of highly communicative, interactive and fun lessons. Each course has a maximum of 6 students, ensuring a personalized and progressive learning style where small class sizes = big progress. Working closely with your German teacher, you will focus on the four most important language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will review the structures of German grammar, pronouns, cases, prepositions, modal verbs, the imperative, adjectives, and more. You will speak German in every lesson and learn to have discussions about interesting and current topics and improve your understanding and communication skills in areas such as: Speaking about when something happened (wenn, als). reading and writing emails Reading and writing biographies Past tenses (flew, walked) Talking about the sequence of events in the past Describing events Expressing possessions and desires in the past Expressing happy and unhappy events and of course much more. Each student has access to the GermanMind library, which is filled with high-quality teaching resources.
