Over 12 weeks, you will build your German step by step, developing vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking skills that you can actually use in everyday situations.
You don't need any previous German knowledge. This German beginner course starts completely from zero.
What Will You Learn in A1.1 + A1.2 German?
By completing A1.1 and A1.2, you will have covered the first two major stages of your A1 German journey.
Rather than simply memorising vocabulary lists, you will learn how German works and how to build your own sentences.
By the end of the 12 weeks, you will be able to:
introduce yourself and give basic personal information
ask and answer common everyday questions
talk about your family, friends, work and free time
describe your daily routine

At GermanMind, our A1 programme is divided into three stages:
A1.1 → A1.2 → A1.3
The 12-week package combines A1.1 and A1.2, meaning you complete two of the three stages – almost 70% of our full A1 programme.
After completing the package, you can continue directly to A1.3 and work towards completing the full A1 level.
This makes the course particularly suitable for students who want to make substantial progress without committing to an overly intensive daily programme.
