Service Description
Level A1.2 course is the 2nd and last course of A1 and finishes the beginner level. Previous knowledge of level A1.1 is required to participate. Please take our placement test if you are unsure of your level. Our passionate and enthusiastic native German teachers will guide you through 10 weeks of highly communicative, educational and fun classes at our school. Each course consists of a small group with a maximum of 10 students, ensuring a personalized and progressive learning style where small class sizes = great progress. Working closely with your German teacher, you will focus on the four most important language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing plus Grammar. You will learn to give and understand instructions, express your opinion about objects, make and reschedule appointments, and apologize for lateness. You will also be able to express your plans and dreams for the future, give advice and commands, and describe people and their appearance. We will also talk about the weather. We will improve our knowledge of German grammar by learning more pronouns, cases (practicing the accusative and learning the dative), prepositions, modal verbs, the imperative, adjectives with their comparatives and superlatives, and we will learn how to give reasons by expanding our sentences with subordinate clauses. You will speak German on the first day in class and continue to improve your pronunciation and confidence in the language by being encouraged to speak each day. Books: The fee is €36; information will be provided after course booking. Each student will have exclusive access to the GermanMind library and resources filled with high quality learning materials.

T&Cs @GermanMind - we keep it simple: If you have to cancel your spot in a group course, please contact us at least 72 hours (3 full days) in advance to avoid being charged the full course fee. Late cancellations are charged 100%. If necessary, you can cancel via email: info@germanmind.ie. Replacement lessons, if necessary, and classes on Bank Holidays are moved take place on Friday or Saturday of the same week. We will not accept responsibility for personal injury, damage or loss of a student's property.
