Service Description
This course is perfect for students with no prior knowledge of German. Over 6 weeks, you'll complete the A1.1 level in a small group of max. 6 students — ideal for fast, personalised progress. Our passionate native German teacher will guide you through communicative and engaging lessons. Small class sizes ensure individual attention and a supportive learning atmosphere. The content of our A1.1 beginner course includes the following topics: - Introduction to the German language and its alphabet (A, B, C...). - Basic greetings and introductions in German, such as "Guten Tag!" (Good day!) and "Wie heißt du?" (What's your name?) - Numbers, days of the week, and months of the year in German. - Simple vocabulary related to everyday life, such as the family, food, leisure activities, and the house. - Simple sentence structures and grammar rules, such as word order and the use of articles. - Basic conversation skills, such as asking for directions or ordering food in a restaurant. - Listening and comprehension exercises to improve understanding of spoken German. - Writing and reading exercises to improve literacy skills. - Cultural aspects of the German-speaking countries, such as traditions and customs. Throughout the course, you will engage in a variety of activities to practice your language skills, including: - Listening and speaking exercises with native speakers - Reading and writing exercises to reinforce grammar and vocabulary - Simulations to practice real-world scenarios - Games and group activities to encourage collaboration and communication By the end of the course, students should be able to: - Understand and use basic German vocabulary and grammar structures - Express themselves in simple and practical situations - Read and write basic German texts - Have a foundation for continuing language learning at the A1.2 level Books: the fee is €36; we will send you all information after the booking. This course is suitable for participants aged 16 and above.

T&Cs @GermanMind – Simple, Clear & Fair Course Bookings When you join a GermanMind course, you book a fixed seat in one specific group with a set start and end date. Because our classes are intentionally small (max. 10 in school, 6 online), your seat is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be moved, transferred, or used in another course. Course Changes Course switches are only free if GermanMind placed you in the wrong level based on our placement test or teacher assessment. All other changes are treated as a new booking and come with a course-change fee, depending on availability. Cancellations To cancel your place in a group course, please email mail@germanmind.ie at least 72 hours before the course starts. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start date are charged 100% of the course fee, as your seat is fully allocated. Bank Holidays Classes falling on Bank Holidays may be rescheduled to the Friday of the same week. Liability GermanMind is not responsible for personal injury or loss/damage to property.
