The year 2022 started with a highlight for GermanMind as we received two national awards. I could not be more proud of the team and the work we have done over the past few years and look to educating more people, furthering the love for the beautiful German language here in Ireland, and bringing our students closer together through learning German online or thankfully now also back at school.
Firstly, it was a great honour to be shortlisted and win the German Language School of the Year award at the Republic of Ireland Prestige Awards 2021/2022. These awards recognise small businesses like us that excel in areas such as quality of service, innovative practices, values, performance and more.
Second, we exceeded our own expectations by also winning Best German Language School 2022 at the EU Business, Irish Enterprise Awards. This European award is given to companies that demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in their industry and are judged on a variety of criteria including business performance, growth, innovation and stakeholder feedback, which is something the entire team at GM should be extremely proud of.
As we celebrated our fifth anniversary in Sept 2021, it is with great pride that we accept these two awards not only on behalf of the school, but also on behalf of our students. Like our students, GermanMind has continued to evolve, offering both online and face-to-face group courses, as well as one-on-one tutoring. As Covid-19 challenged people and companies around the world, we strived to provide students with a friendly, open, and inclusive environment where they could not only learn German online, but also make new friends.
As part of our ongoing evolution in 2022, we have launched the GermanMind Method, a free educational resource that offers invaluable lessons on grammar, vocabulary, German comprehension, and much more. Our students are our success, and we wouldn’t be where we are without their commitment to the German language. We look forward to continued success for students of both GermanMind and the GermanMind Method in the years to come.
Last but not least, we just published our first ebook about the German cases and the second one is in the making.
